Hi, I’m Dana. I started Practically Nested while renovating and settling into our home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I’m not a contractor, interior designer or DIY expert. I’m the person making the decisions, managing the budget, hiring the professionals and figuring out how to turn a house into a home that works for our family.
What started with our kitchen renovation quickly became something bigger. I realized how much time I was spending researching products, comparing quotes, planning projects and trying to make smart decisions — and how helpful it would have been to see how another homeowner actually approached all of it.
That’s what Practically Nested is about.
